Church Health & Organizational Assessment
Identify strengths, gaps, bottlenecks, unclear responsibilities, and opportunities to improve the overall health and effectiveness of the ministry.
Healthy churches need more than vision. They need effective leaders, strong systems, clear communication, practical strategies, and an intentional plan for reaching and serving people.
All About One Church Consulting helps pastors and ministry leaders identify organizational gaps, strengthen operations, develop leaders, and build practical strategies that support the mission God has given their church.
Pastors and church leaders carry a unique responsibility. You're preaching, leading people, managing problems, developing ministries, responding to needs, and trying to keep the church moving forward.
When you're that close to the day-to-day operation of a ministry, it can be difficult to step back and see what visitors see, what volunteers experience, where leaders are struggling, or where systems are creating unnecessary friction.
That's where an outside perspective can help.
It's about helping you see your church more clearly, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical solutions that fit your ministry, people, culture, and mission.
The goal isn't to turn your church into someone else's church. The goal is to help your church become healthier and more effective at fulfilling the mission God has entrusted to you.
Consulting can focus on a specific challenge or provide a broader assessment of church health, leadership, systems, communication, and ministry effectiveness.
Identify strengths, gaps, bottlenecks, unclear responsibilities, and opportunities to improve the overall health and effectiveness of the ministry.
Strengthen existing leaders, identify emerging leaders, clarify expectations, improve accountability, and build a healthier leadership culture.
Develop clearer policies, procedures, roles, and operational expectations that reduce confusion and support consistent ministry.
Evaluate how ministry actually gets done and create practical systems that make it easier for leaders, volunteers, and teams to succeed.
Examine the journey from first-time guest to meaningful connection and create clearer pathways for people to belong, grow, and serve.
Strengthen internal communication, websites, social media, livestreaming, audiovisual ministry, and the way your church communicates its message.
Develop practical strategies that help your church understand its community, build relationships, and intentionally reach people beyond Sunday morning.
Turn vision into clear priorities, measurable goals, responsibilities, timelines, and an actionable plan your leadership team can execute.
Church growth is about more than getting people through the doors. A healthy ministry thinks intentionally about the entire journey—from reaching people to helping them become connected, discipled, and actively involved in the mission.
Consulting should produce more than a report sitting on a shelf. The process is designed to move from understanding the problem to implementing practical change.
Understand your current reality, strengths, gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
Make sure priorities, leadership, resources, and activities support the church's mission.
Improve leadership, communication, systems, processes, and areas of organizational weakness.
Build healthier pathways for reaching, connecting, discipling, and mobilizing people.
Turn recommendations into clear actions, responsibilities, priorities, and measurable next steps.
Every church has a different history, congregation, community, leadership structure, culture, and calling. That's why effective consulting shouldn't begin with a prepackaged solution.
We begin by understanding your church and the challenge you're actually trying to solve.
“The goal isn't to make your church look like another successful church. The goal is to help your church become healthier, clearer, and more effective at accomplishing the mission God has given you.”
Years of ministry and leadership experience informing a practical approach to people, organizations, communication, leadership development, and mission execution.
Pastor Lee Mooring brings experience as a pastor, church consultant, leadership coach, speaker, and United States Marine Corps veteran, with more than 25 years in ministry and leadership.
His background includes organizational assessment, leadership development, communication, ministry operations, audiovisual production, digital communication, social media, and helping leaders move from ideas to implementation.
That combination provides a perspective that looks at both the ministry and organizational sides of church leadership. The spiritual mission matters—and the systems, people, communication, and leadership supporting that mission matter too.
You don't have to know exactly what needs to change before starting a conversation. Often, identifying the real challenge is the first part of the process.
The first conversation is simply an opportunity to talk about your church, what you're experiencing, what you're trying to accomplish, and where you believe support may be helpful.
From there, we can determine whether consulting is the right next step and what type of engagement would make the most sense.
Schedule a ConversationLet's identify what's working, uncover what's getting in the way, and build a practical plan that helps your church become healthier internally and more effective externally.
